Today Jennifer and Jeremy came to stay with me for a few days. Ted brought them on his way to work. They are two adorable children. We spent three delightful days together. It was fun to get better acquainted with them. I was amazed at Jennifer’s ability to carry a tune. Although she is only four she could sing several songs all the way through and on perfect pitch.
Jeremy is such a loving little boy. I hope he gets all the love he deserves in this life. They didn’t cry to go home and we had fun but when Ted came for them I think they were glad to go back to Mommy and Daddy. I really enjoyed them.

Today is Easter Sunday. I gave my Relief Society lesson today so I attended all my meetings in my own ward. After church I went to Mesa and had dinner with Madge and family. It was a lovely day. JoAnn Cole and her little son Kevin were there also. We had a nice visit with her.

Reid and Ruth are here visiting. Ruth isn’t feeling too well as a result of a car accident some time ago. She is here for a little relaxation. Doctor says she should be off work for awhile.

Today is Jay’s birthday. He came for lunch and we had a good visit. I enjoy his coming so much. In the evening we all got together in the park in Mesa for a party. It’s always good to be with my children and grandchildren.
While I was in Mesa I got to visit with Reed for awhile.

Today I went with Florence, Joe and Ivan over to Thatcher. It’s always good to go back home. I hadn’t been there for some time. We had a good visit with Bertha. She had a nice lunch prepared for us. Linda and her two youngest children came and we enjoyed visiting with them. The weather was rather unsettled. There had been a hail storm over the mountain. The storm was gone when we crossed the mountain but there was hail at the side of the highway and in the mountains. We got in the rain before we got to Mesa and it rained on me all the way from Mesa to Phoenix. I was very thankful to get home.
