Bertha came over today. She has been in Mesa since the 9th. She had her eyes examined. The doctor said she had a bubble on the retina. He sent her to a specialist here in Phoenix.
19 Jan 1980
Took Bertha to the eye specialist today. Now she has to have pictures taken of her eyes to see if it can be treated.
21 Jan 1980
Took Bertha to have the pictures made of her eyes. It will be a week before she gets the results.
22 Jan 1980
We had a real fog this morning. Could hardly see across the street. By noon it had lifted and Bertha went to Mesa and will leave for Thatcher in the morning.
