6 June 1982
Today is Sunday and my day to give the Relief Society Spiritual Living lesson. I was so blessed today. I felt the lesson went very well. The sisters responded very well and the testimonies were good. I have been having a little trouble concentrating lately and my hearing is not too good. I was blessed today by being able to hear and also with a clear thinking mind. I thank my Heavenly Father for it.
11 June 1982
Today is Linnea’s birthday. Five years old. I went to see her today. She was all excited about her birthday. Nancy had a little birthday party for Jeremy today instead of tomorrow which was his day. They got him a little lawn mower and was he happy. If it would really cut grass they would have the best mowed lawn in town. He was a very happy three year old. I enjoyed being with the children and their families so much.
12 June 1982
Jay and Ted came today and painted the house and garage. It was a big job and we were all glad when it was finished. It looks very nice. Its good to have the garage all cleaned out. Em had so much equipment and tools and 32 years of accumulated this and that it took a lot of work to get it all sorted and cleaned out. The boys have been so good and have done so much for me. I appreciate their help so much.

Today is Sunday. Went to all my meetings this morning. Spent the afternoon resting and writing letters.
14 June 1982
Marlene and the children came this afternoon. I gave Marlene a permanent and in the evening we cooked hamburgers outside and had a lovely evening together. Jay came home after work and did some more work on the house. It was so nice to have his family here.
15 June 1982
Jay came again after work and worked on the house. He works so hard, some times I wonder if its worth all the work to prepare it for sale.
